Three Reasons Why Apple's iPhone Is By Far, The Most Popular Smartphone In The United States

The Apple iPhone is used by nearly 200 million people in the United States alone.

Apple is, by far, the largest tech company in the world. They have a recorded market cap of nearly $1 trillion, and have sold many of their products at very high prices because of this. Well, the iPhone is currently the most popular smartphone device in the United States. They have recently released a new iPhone SE model, which has a similar design to that of the iPhone 8, and is capable of being able to run iOS 13, and upgradable for the forseeable future. So, how is Apple able to best out all of the other Android manufacters as a result? There is three main reasons why, and I can tell you exactly what they are:

Well-known by Celebrites
Many celebrites, including singers and actors, have been using the iPhone and macOS as it has special software that only is available for those specific devices. Take musicians in, for example. Apple has a special piece of software called Garageband. This program is a musician's dream. It has all of the nessecary tools and bells/whistles for any singer to make their music. They can later upload it to music sharing sites like Soundcloud or YouTube, and can easily gain thousands of clicks in just minutes, thanks to Garageband's superior production value. For other operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Android or Linux, Apple does NOT offer this software to these competiors. They can use LMMS however (which is FOSS) but the UI is very complicated, in contrast to Garageband, which is very sleek and clean, making it even great for a newbie to make their own music. Actors and singers also use iOS as they don't have to worry about pre-installed social media apps (ex., Facebook) and can choose which ones they want, such as Twitter. Celebrities can get stalked on Facebook, and that's why they use an iPhone, because Apple does not pre-install any social media apps by default.

They respect the Human's Privacy
Although many people use Google services, some people have been quiting Google altogether. iOS is by far, the most popular alternative to Android. Although the operating system is locked-up and requires a jailbreak in order to gain full control, many people just don't care. And it's because Apple is truly respecting the human's fundamental privacy. Like when you visit a website on Safari, Apple ensures that no footprints are left so that way certain websites won't serve you ads for that website you visited ten days ago. Like, you visited a grocery store's website a couple days ago, and then later, you still won't see any Kroger ads. This is Apple's way of clearing your footprints while you're on the internet, and if you were do this same process on Chrome, you would see nothing but Kroger and Fred Meyer ads non-stop, forcing you to close off every darn ad that you see on the internet. Apple also encrypts your data on the iCloud, which every user gets 5 GB for free, and can later upgrade to 50 GB for only 99 cents. All your pictures, videos, your backups of your iPhone or iPad, your downloads, and your documents are all on one unifed cloud. Apple uses 256-bit encryption technology, to ensure that no one is capable of hacking into your emails, photos or documents. If you're one of those people who is ready to de-Googleify your life, then you're first best choice over Android would probably be the iPhone.

No Bloatware Pre-Installed (Facebook, Microsoft, Google)
We pretty much had already discussed this in the first topic, but I want to go into more detail about it. Many Android phones and tablets, have came pre-installed with one or more so apps, normally without the users permission. Notably, this includes Google's suite of apps, such as the Google app itself, Google Photos, Google Play Store, YouTube and so on. Some of the other brand-name manufacters, most notably Samsung, have also secured contracts with Facebook and Microsoft to have their apps pre-installed on their own devices. Samsung secured a long-term contract with Zuckerberg's Facebook social website, to pre-install it's app, and Messenger, on all of Samsung's Galaxy line of Phones and Tablets. Samsung also had secured a deal with Nadella's Microsoft Corporation, to also pre-install Microsoft's suite of apps, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive and Skype on Samsung's Galaxy line of Tablets. There's some people that like this stuff, and there's some people that simply don't. And if you don't like Facebook, Microsoft or Google, then you would just go with the iPhone, as it has no bloatware pre-installed, which takes up precious space on your storage, which could be used for other stuff, such as music or pictures. Samsung also does not let people remove Facebook or it's Microsoft apps at all, treating it as a system app, just like Google's own apps. So, if you want a phone or tablet that strictly does not have bloatware pre-installed that you just simply can't get rid of, there's no reason why you would try the iPhone as a result.

Although there is still a little bit over 100 million people using Android devices in the US, Apple has done a very successful job in corraling one of the most largest countries in the world. Apple has done a very well job in providing the software and security that every person needs, and has been listening to it's customers for many years now. It should also be noted that there is rumors that Apple might hit the 70% market share mark in the United States alone, making it the very first country to have over 200 million iPhones sold in the US alone, with approximentely 226 million active iPhone users in just the United States. Apple has more than likely made over $40 billion on their fastest selling iPhone in the US alone, making it the most-popular country in use with the iPhone. And as many Americians turn to what smartphone they want, they go with the iPhone, especially given since it's "Designed by Apple in California", making it the only TRUE, American Made Phone.
