Arctic Dogs is becoming a cult following, thanks to Netflix

The movie features voice acting by Jeremy Renner, Heidi Klum, Anjelica Huston and Alec Baldwin.

Arctic Dogs had the worst opening in history with a wide release of 2,800 theaters, making $9.8 million in it's entire box office run, thus making it a box office bomb. Netflix, on the other hand, has turned this film into a cult following.

On it's debut of May 4th, it hit #1 on the top ten movies chart in the US, while dropping down only to #3 in just two days. It also eventually ended up on the Top Ten Overall Movies & Series on Netflix in the US alone, holding the #8 spot.

The reason behind this is that many kids are stuck at home since schools have been closed because of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, and many parents have seen this movie as their first choice for their kids to watch. Since many parents and kids have choosen this movie to be the best choice on Netflix, it has lead the movie to being a cult following.

Of course, Netflix has lost rights to many of the Disney movies and TV series thanks to Disney+, but luckily, Arctic Dogs was able to bridge the gap to make up for this.

Of course, I own Arctic Dogs on iTunes, but Netflix is bridging that gap for people who haven't bought the movie online. Thanks to the help of Netflix, Arctic Dogs has became a cult following, which had a very little fanbase, but became passionate and enlarged with over tens of million streams on Netflix.
