SiriusXM is free until December 3rd - Here's How To Listen

SiriusXM recently has offered a free preview of their satellite radio service, which is available on all active radios capable of receiving the service (including inactive radio's as well), which will be available until December 3rd. SiriusXM does this to lure people into the service so people can take out their credit (or debit, your choice) cards to pay for the service to enjoy channels like SiriusXM Hits 1, Pitbull's Globalization, 80s on 8, plus talk shows like Howard Stern and CBC Radio One.

If you're thinking of paying for the service, then you've come to the right place, as I'll help you find the perfect service by comparing each service that offers the most and least:

Sirius Select offers SiriusXM video, through the website and the app, over 5,000 hours of On Demand shows, plus performances and interviews, all of the ad-free music channels you'll love, artist-dedicated channels including artists like The Beatles, Garth Brooks, Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen and Grateful Dead, 24/7 stand up comedy channels like Comedy Central Radio, World-Class News from channels like Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, Bloomberg and NPR, both of Howard Stern's two dedicated channels, every NFL game, plus NFL Football talk, every NASCAR race, plus NASCAR race talk, NHL hockey games, plus NHL hockey talk, 24/7 coverage of men's and women's coverage of college conference sporting events, dedicated channels for traffic and weather, plus over 100 online "Xtra" channels for any mood or activity. This package is only $16.99 per month. About only $1.30 per feature.

Another package is Sirius All Access, which offers the same features that Select offers, including every MLB game, plus MLB baseball talk, every NBA game, plus NBA basketball talk, PGA Tour Coverage, plus PGA Tour golf talk, and as an added bonus, you can create custom ad-free music stations through Pandora. This package is $21.99 per month. Only $1.29 per feature, the same price for a single song download.

If you're just wanting specifically music, then there is a cheaper package called "Mostly Music". It strictly offers a selection of Sirius's commercial-free music channels. Only $10.99 per month. You can upgrade to $15.99 per month to listen in your car, plus mobile devices and tablets and on your computer. But needless to say, this probably wouldn't be the best value for you.

So here is the comparison for the service's packages in the car, "per feature":

Sirius Select: $1.30
Sirius All Access: $1.29 (BEST VALUE)
Sirius Mostly Music: $10.99 (listen only in car) / $7.99 (listen everywhere)

As you can see, the best value is Sirius All Access, which offers everything that SiriusXM can offer in the car. But there is a another choice for listening, known as "SiriusXM Outside The Car", which allows you to listen to SiriusXM on your computer, plus mobile devices and tablets. And you can also play SiriusXM in your car through your mobile device via Bluetooth. Check these packages out for comparison:

SiriusXM Essential allows you to listen at home, on your phone and online. You'll get ad-free music, including the additional online "Xtra" channels with the ability to skip songs as well, plus News, Talk, Entertainment, and Sports, 24/7 comedy channels, thousands of on-demand shows, concerts, and much more, and SiriusXM video online and through the app. This package is only $8.00 per month. Only 80 cents per feature.

There's also SiriusXM Premier, which, as always, offers the same features as Essential, plus personalized stations through Pandora, both of Howard Stern's two dedicated channels, along with NHL and NCAA play-by-play and talk channels. This package is only $13.00. Only 86 cents per feature.

So here is the two "SiriusXM Outside The Car" packages in comparison, "per feature":

SiriusXM Essential: 80 cents (BEST VALUE)
SiriusXM Premier: 86 cents

So let's put this way. If you're wanting something that's real cheap, and keep money for your Ramen, then you probably want SiriusXM Essential. This package is only $8/month, and you can order by clicking here. However, if you want all of the live sports, Howard Stern, and custom ad-free stations through Pandora, then you probably want SiriusXM All Access, which is $22/month. You can order All Access, or any of SiriusXM's packages by clicking this link.

You can stream SiriusXM for free (without log-in as well) until Sunday, December 3rd at player.siriusxm.com.
